Commercial properties only — no private homes
Safety Shine Maintenance: Commercial Floor Care Throughout Oklahoma
Commercial strip and wax, machine scrubbing, buffing, and burnishing for commercial properties across all 77 Oklahoma counties. Work can often be scheduled after hours or completed in phases to help limit disruption to the facility.
Commercial floor care throughout Oklahoma
Safety Shine Maintenance provides commercial floor-care services throughout Oklahoma, including strip and wax, machine scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, and recurring maintenance programs. Availability is subject to project size, location, scheduling, and crew availability.
We work on commercial and professionally managed properties: retail centers, offices, schools, medical and dental facilities, warehouses and distribution buildings, manufacturing plants, restaurants, grocery stores, dealerships, hotels, fitness centers, churches, and managed common areas. Every project starts with identifying the flooring material and the condition of the existing finish, because that is what determines which service is actually appropriate.
Coverage is statewide rather than radius-based. Projects in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metros are usually scheduled on their own; work in smaller counties can often be coordinated with other qualifying projects in the same area, when scheduling and scope make that practical, so that travel does not dominate the cost of the project. We do not publish or claim local offices, branch locations or stationed crews anywhere in Oklahoma.
We do not service private homes. Requests for residential floor care, individual apartments, or private housekeeping cannot be quoted or scheduled. Our services are for commercial properties, managed facilities, construction projects, and professionally managed common areas.
Our four commercial floor-care services
-
Commercial strip and wax
Full removal of worn floor finish, followed by preparation and application of new commercial floor finish on VCT and compatible resilient flooring.
-
Commercial machine scrubbing
Deep mechanical cleaning that lifts embedded soil and residue from large commercial floor areas, with scrub-and-recoat evaluation where a coating is present.
-
Buffing and burnishing
Mechanical polishing that restores gloss and reduces visible traffic marks between full refinishing cycles.
-
Floor maintenance programs
Recurring service schedules that combine scrubbing, polishing, recoating, and refinishing so floors are maintained on a plan rather than in response to complaints.
How a commercial floor-care project starts
Three steps, before any work is scheduled.
-
Send the property details
Property type, flooring, square footage, condition and photographs.
-
Confirm the appropriate scope
Evaluate whether the floor needs scrubbing, recoating, refinishing, buffing or burnishing.
-
Coordinate the service window
Confirm availability, access, phasing and scheduling for the specific property.
Which floors we work on
Services and products are selected according to the floor material, the existing coating, the condition of the floor, and the manufacturer's guidance. Not every commercial floor should be waxed, and we confirm what a floor actually needs before recommending anything.
- Vinyl composition tile, the most common commercial floor we refinish
- Compatible resilient flooring, including sheet vinyl where suitable
- Luxury vinyl tile, only where manufacturer-approved methods are used
- Sealed concrete, maintained by machine scrubbing rather than floor finish
- Ceramic and porcelain tile, cleaned mechanically with attention to grout lines
- Terrazzo and other commercial hard floors, evaluated case by case
We do not offer stone polishing, concrete grinding, epoxy installation, wood-floor refinishing, or specialized restoration.

How commercial floor-care quotes are prepared
We do not publish pricing, because the same square footage can mean very different work depending on the building. A quote is prepared after we understand the following.
- Square footage by area and flooring type
- Existing finish and its condition
- Number of finish coats required
- Furniture and fixture movement
- Access restrictions and equipment routes
- Operating hours and available windows
- Drying and curing time in your building
- Travel and mobilization
- The schedule you need
- Recurring service versus one-time work

Multi-location and portfolio inquiries are welcome. If you manage several buildings across Oklahoma, send the full site list and we will work through square footage, surface types, and access for each property.

Common questions about commercial floor care
Do you provide floor care for private homes?
No. Safety Shine Maintenance works on commercial properties, managed facilities, construction projects, and professionally managed common areas only. We do not quote or schedule floor care in private residences or individual apartments.
Which parts of Oklahoma do you cover?
Oklahoma statewide. Commercial floor-care projects are evaluated in all 77 Oklahoma counties and in every incorporated Oklahoma city and town, from Oklahoma City and Tulsa through to the smallest towns in the Panhandle. Availability at any specific address is confirmed by location, project size, required service, access, and schedule.
Do you have an office in every Oklahoma market?
No. We do not publish or claim local offices, branch locations or stationed crews anywhere in the state. Work is scheduled to the property, and for a smaller project in a rural county, scheduling may be coordinated with other qualifying work in the same area when practical.
Do you publish pricing?
No, because a rate per square foot is not a quote. Cost is driven by area, flooring type, the existing finish and its condition, coats required, fixture movement, access, phasing, and schedule. We set out what a quote includes so it can be compared honestly against others.
Can floor work happen without closing the building?
Usually. Most commercial floor care is done after hours, overnight, or at weekends, and larger properties are commonly phased so only part of the floor is out of service at a time.
Do you take on multi-location or portfolio work?
Yes. Send the full site list and we will work through square footage, surface types, and access per property. A consistent standard can be applied across Oklahoma sites while each building keeps a schedule that suits its own hours.
What flooring do you work on?
Most commonly vinyl composition tile and compatible resilient flooring, along with sealed concrete and hard tile. Not every surface should be coated, and we confirm the material and the manufacturer's guidance before recommending a service.
